Padel tournament maker: Americano, Mexicano, knockout
Type the names, press make, and run the whole evening from one phone: the rounds, the courts, the scores, the table. Americano rotates partners and counts points. Mexicano pairs each round by the standings. Knockout is fixed pairs and a bracket. Nothing to sign up for; it stays on your device.

Americano is the social one. Everyone plays with everyone, partners change every round, and each player collects their own points, so a weak partner in round two is nobody's problem in round three. Twenty-four points a match on one court takes about fifteen minutes. Eight players on two courts, six rounds, and the whole thing is done in ninety minutes with a clear winner.
Mexicano is Americano with teeth. Round one is random; after that the standings decide the courts, so the top four play each other and the bottom four play each other. Better matches, quicker, and the table means something by round three. Use it when the group has a wide range of levels and you want people playing at their own.
Knockout is for fixed pairs and a trophy. Seeds are the order you type them, the top seeds get any byes, and the bracket runs to a final. Pair it with a consolation Americano for the pairs that go out early, or half the room is watching by nine.
Running it well
Read the round out loud, and the court numbers. Put the phone where the sitting-out players can see the table; it is the thing they will ask about. Enter scores the moment a court finishes, and press next round only when every score is in, or the pairing logic pairs people who have not finished.
For Americano with an odd number of players, one or three sit out each round; the maker rotates who. Six or ten players work; seven is fine; five is a long night for whoever sits.
