What a 6.0 does
- Turns defence into attack with the bajada off the back glass
- Plays the víbora into the side glass so it dies
- Holds one level through the whole match, not just the first set
What a 6.0 does not do yet
- Give a free point from a comfortable position
- Lob without knowing where the next ball goes
- Rush the net behind a ball that has not moved the other pair
What to work on next
The glass as a weapon. Here the ball off the back wall is where the attack starts, and the bajada is how it starts. Padel wall play: how to stop being afraid of the glass.
On the other scales
The converter files 6.0 under Competitive: tournament player who reads the game and wins the long points. That reads as MATCHi 8 and LTA 6.0; Padel Mates uses the same 0 to 7 numbers as Playtomic. None of it is official, and the bands hold to about half a point. Convert any number.
How the number moves
At this end of the scale a win against a weaker pair moves you almost nothing: the level climbs only against pairs at or above it. Under five unforced errors in a set is at least a 4. The long version is in padel levels explained.
Test it
In Padel: The Game a 6.0 meets the 1800 PELO pair, Bea and Álvaro (national). Fast, precise, ruthless on the smash, fresh in the twentieth shot. Win one and you have earned it.
The daily Scenario is filed by level, and the advanced ones are the fair test at 6.0. One from the bank:
